My youngest daughter's project is a '52 GMC Burb. She lives about 75 miles away but between her two daughter's softball games and music recitals, she drives over and works on it.

Hey Seon, how are you going to mount the front sheetmetal? I don't see a crossmember at the front, and it looks like the steering box is in the way.

Hey OldSub, now that the engine and transmission are in place, I'll get the plasma cutter and welder out to cut, fabricate and weld the radiator mounts using angle iron or square tubing. The steering column to the box will be connected with a u-joint coupler. Piece of cake .

I like a well balanced family. A little sports, some fine art and then to the wrenches. It never hurts to listen to Beethoven while you change out the rear axle.
