Where did all the Burb/Panel guys go. Is there a Burb/Panel convention somewhere that i am missing?

Guess I should not say too much as I have not been here either. I used to be here more often during lunch but the work computers have changed and I can't see the photo links anymore. It hurts when I know you guys are putting up the cool pictures and I can't see. I'll have to spend a little weekend time on the box at home.

Hi Buddy, I dont think that the bolt has been as busy since the slowdown. Cheer up! The other areas are picking up speed and shifting into high.

Too much work going on. Not enough Burb

I was able to fit my aluminum radiator to cool the Vortec engine and then hung the front fenders. Unfortunately the wife found another "honey-do" for me to work on .

I've been here, just nothing much to update on over here. I did get the late model gas door welded in and am smoothing it in, other than that been kinda quiet. I spose when better weather kicks in, us outdoor guys will have more going on and more to share!

I've been gone on vacation to AZ and CA. Was going to try to look up Johnny in Tucson but the timing was wrong. Sorry about that Johnny. Weeds

I've been spending a lot of time on my daily driver. It's a 90 RX7 convertible with 168K. It has a rotary engine which is the antithesis of the chevy I6. It has more sensors and crap than the space shuttle. If a few of them get a little dirty the engine runs bad. I love/hate this thing.

Hey i am making slow progress. I had a header clearance problem that took a while to reroute a pipe to miss the steering box. Was waiting on a friend to come help and it was low priority for him. (but it was free). I'm now hanging alternator, etc. and should be ready to hang front end in next week or so. I also had a guy give me an 87 burb to part out so I've been distracted...anybody need 87parts?

wait a minute, this the panel and suburban site. 49 came buy your space at the swap meet but, you were out chasing parts. on the way up to decatur from weatherford, i let cletis drive my panel up there, only problem he had was driving stright down the road.he's been used to driving in circles on his place that he forgot how to drive an old ad truck on the road.it rained on the way back but the OLD VACUUM WIPERS WORKED GREAT.

Been working on E- brake setup. Got that finished and am moving on to the gas tank. Using a 31 gallon tank from a 81 full size Blazer. Fits pretty good under the rear crossmember. Will mount it and run the gas line and then I can move on to the body FINALLY. You work on all this chassis stuff and it really looks like nothing is being accomplished and suddenly you are ready for the body. Try to do a little bit every day and eventually its finished. Cant wait to see the body back on the frame. Weeds

Been sandin' & paintin'. Not too far from the computer but it might as well be a mile. Coming along VERY nicely though. I give myself a couple of months (realistically) to be DONE!!! Will post pictures and put in gallery as soon as I can. Painting doors, side & rear, and some other parts on Monday. May be able to paint the main body next weekend and get it off to the upholsterer shortly after. Everything else is painted so then it will just be assembly. YAHOO!!!
