Doing the windlass on my burb and have run into a little snag. How far down the REAR of the door does the windlass go. Does it stop at the end of the retaining strip? If it goes down further, how does it fasten.
I took a lot of pictures of everything but never seem to have the one I need.

Are you talking about the rear door or the side door

side door, There is an angle bracket which prevents there being trim all the way to the floor
