For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 23 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 23 | Bought a real nice all original 55 GMC. Nothing butchered except the radio. They made a face plate out of wood to accept a modern radio. Anyone make a face plate I can use to accept a modern type radio. I really don t want to weld in a patch on the dash.

It is for Chevs but I don,t know if it fits GMC also. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. They are getting hard to find now. Most of the ones at swap meets don,t work. I,ve got a bunch of shaft mount type faceplates if you want one. I tested all my old radio,s & through out the ones that didn,t work right. I kept the hardware & faceplates. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
