Martin | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | Martin, the nominal rating for the series run like this; 3100=1/2 ton, 3600=3/4 ton, 3800=1 ton, etc. The series 3600 has a wheel base of 125 1/4" and Max. G.V.W. 5,800 pounds.
The Model 3602 is a Chassis w/Flat-Face Cowl,
Model 3612 is Chassis w/Cowl & Windshield,
Model 3603 is Chassis & Cab,
Model 3604 is is Pick-up,
Model 3608 is Chassis & Cab w/Platform Body,
Model 3609 is Chassis & Cab w/Stake Body.
Hope that clears it up for you, the information is contained in the "Chevrolet Truck Data Book" for Chevrolet Salesmen avalable from most of the vendors.

Your 3604 sold for 1385.00 with 59.00 D&H, 197.75 freight, 59.00 local dealer charge for a delivered price of $1700.75 less options. This little book has handwritten notes indicating this is the new prices for 1951 (dated 1/19/51).
