I just bought a chevy 1960 truck that needs some work. I am not sure what type of truck this is. I bought this because of the price $500.00. I live in Phoenix and need to see what there is for getting parts for this truck. The engine runs. There is no rear bumper, the chrome for the side is missing, the passenger window is cracked, and the vent window needs to be rplaced, mirrors are needed. I am not sure how to place a photo in this forum to show what the truck looks like. Please help. shape,Can someone tell me what this truck is? I think it is a 1960 fleetside is that correct? American Classic sponsors this website & has been very helpful. LMC is good & Classic parts is also. They all have websites were you can get the addresses. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 162 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 162 | look in the parts for sale forum on this site for many great parts from other bolters!

I may have an extra passenger window for you if you need it. My project is a 60 also. You may try Grumpys truck parts up off of I-17 at about Bell rd. They specialize in old chevy pickups. Also a classic chevy parts store over on Mcdowell & 40..60ish street.(South side near the boat shop, I just drive to it, don't know the address or exact street) | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 | I'll bet you that where it says "12PU) in the vehicle type category that it means "1/2 ton pick up." If you could post some pics we would be able to help you more. Sounds like a steal of a deal. I would love to see it, welcome to the club. You will find that many a paychech and saturday will go into your truck, but the best part is is that you won't mind and soon you will have a vehicle to be proud of. So, welcome and enjoy!

I will have to stop in at Grumpys. Maybe I will head to them this weekend. I am not a computer person at all. So I am not sure how to put photos to this site. This forum is very much like another forum I belong to for my other expensive hobby (Marine Fish). On that site all I need to do is attach photo to the reply. Also it will send me an email when someone responds to a topic I may have posted. Does this site do that? Here I am not sure how to do that. I did send for the catelogs and thinks. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 183 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 183 | The IT Shortbus has a neat post from Red58 on how to get pictures up. I bought the truck without knowing anything about them. For $500 I thought how could I resist. I have a 64 lemans convertible that I like to work on. I do not know much about trucks. But am willing to learn. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 24 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 24 | I put my pics on flicker how do I get this tied to this forum? | | |
