on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Found out it was a pretty dirty and actually bad gastank, so decided to simply cut the seemweld off all around it. Glassbeads showed there were some pinholes. Inside being clean, I soldered all the pinholes and welded the two parts together and guess...no more leaks even when preesurising the tank. Cleaning, prep and sealant completed the job. Not a really new tank, but definitely as good! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | sounds like a cool project...Good Job ! | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 | Hey, Chevert I don't see any wooden shoes on you guys. Do you all still wear them? Your project looks very nice. You have better people there doing work for you. My sheet metal has been at the blaster for 3 months.
