Hey folks thanks for all the help figuring out what year my truck is or isn't. Now I have a new chore. I am going to be in Oklahoma City tomorrow and I need to know if anyone knows of a junk yard or places to find obscure screws/bolts and interior panels for my '52-'53 1/2 ton Chevy. Also, I am looking for original (not replacement) metal beds strips to hold down the wood. I will only be there for about 4 hours so it has to be close to PWA airport. Any suggestions?

Welcome and I see that you are from Las Vegas. Have you tried talking to the guys over at Tuckers clasic Pickup Parts? They are located at 4815 West Reno 702-258-1955 or their web site at www.tuckersparts.com they are very helpful and usually have a line on lots of use parts.

Thanks W.F. Yeah, aren't those guys great? Rob, Cody, Brandon and Tom are all my new best friends there. They've all been very helpful and informative on even the silliest things I have had to ask.

BTW Without driving a considerable distance there aren't any parts yards near the PWA airport near Oklahoma City. Just FYI y'all!
