I am just ready to leave to pick up my truck ('54 GMC) from the paint shop.

$2,800 for body work and paint and it is finally completely finished.

I am going to my Inliners club breakfast then off to the paint shop about 70 miles away.

When I get it home I will detail it out and next Tuesday will be going to Reno for Hot August Nights. To say the least I am EXCITED!!!!

Any other 'bolters going to Reno? If so I'd like to meet up.

Congrats Chevman!! Wish I was going to HAN this year but it ain't going to happen. Maybe next year. Great show.

Is a 'bolt ever completely finished? I'm always seeing something else I want to do.

Enjoy HAN and your truck.

I'd love to post pics, but have a problem. My granddaughter is a photographer, she took a bunch of pics of the GMC, but her computer has been playing games with her and she can't get the pics from the camera into the computer. When that problem is solved, I'll post several pics. Until then believe me it is shiny and all the same color. I'm having a blast driving it around town, everyone says it's very nice and I think so too.

Yes, photos please and it would be nice to know what all you had done for that price. My 51/3100 will be in the body shop this winter and I'm holding my breath... I've only got $3k in my budget.
