The sunvisor of my uncle's 51 Chevy 3100 got stolen. I found him another sunvisor at eBay.

It seems we are missing one part which mounts on top of the bracket which clamps on the split of the windshield.

Can any one post or send some pictures of the part that we are missing? I have pictures of what we have.

Regards,

Richard

If you're referring to the parts that actually clamp to the divider bar I don't have a pic of mine but could probably take one. Here are the instructions for mounting one. The pics aren't the best but you may get the info you need.

Maybe it's for a 54 or a 55.1 truck that doesn't have a center divider. Don't know how to verify, but they are rather hard to come by,

I have 2 different visors. If you can describe what you want a little better I'll take a look and get a picture for you.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Since I can not post pictures here, I will try to give you a better description.

The sunvisor has a left and right wing and a center piece. All these parts are painted. The center piece covers the left and right wing since it's adjustable to width.

There are also 3 chrome (stainless steel?) pieces;left, right and a small piece in the middle up front.

It mounts left and right by the two pieces above and in the middle by a clamp that resembles (or is?) Fulton.

The center wing has a depressed area of about 1"x 2" w/ 4 bolt holes.

The center plate looks like this but has a depressed area

What I am missing is the piece/clamp that connects the center clamp w/ the center wing

I also would appreciate pictures of the different sunvisors to determince which one we have.

Richard

You don't have your e-mail addy visible in your profile. Send me, or post, your e-mail & I'll send you what pics I have. The visor in the eBay link you posted is missing all of the center support structure, one of the dogbones, and the two rods that hold it all together. The only "depressed" area on mine is where the center moulding goes. FYI you can post pics if you have a digital camera. Look at the "Glovebox Manual" link on the forum main page for how to do it. Did you visit the link I posted before?

Hello Tiny,

I did visit the link you posted. It resembles but ..

- Our sunvisor has different side brackets. They are more metal.

- The bracket that fits on the windshield differs as well.

I have send you an email. I will gladly send you some pictures to help me further.

Richard
