Or would I have to go with 1955-1962 Pickup (3.38:1)? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | i would think the 3.38 gear set would give ya some longer legs on the highway . | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 874 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 874 | Well, I would say '37 to '54 means '37 to '54. '55.1 has an open drive shaft, unlike the '54 so I would say you would need the '55 to '62 gear set.
If you're unsure, just call Patrick and ask him. | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | If you're unsure, just call Patrick and ask him. [/QB] +1 Call him. He's happy to talk to you, and there aren't many know more about these old "Bolts" than he does. | | |
