First time since October, there are now 21 miles on the odometer all from going around the block. It started right up after a couple of drops of gas into the carburetor. On the first time around I realized that I must have incorrectly positioned the speedometer needle as it was showing 40 MPH and I was still in 2nd gear (not likely with the stock 4.56 rear end) On the second time around The needle fell off when the truck hit a bump in the road. Guess the needle needs to be glued to that skinny little post. I built a good speedo out of parts from a bunch of broken ones. (I don't recommend it unless you've got a few days to putter around, BTW)
IIRC, there is a small clip or a nut or something that holds the needle on. I will look at my spare parts and see if that is the case or not.
