i have got a 64'swb with a 327,3 speed ,body looks fair,small amount of rust,it's been took care of,runs really good,i've been offered,$2500.00,is that sound pretty fair,i'm used to 80's model 4x4's,this one is to old for me to know about

Your post will likely generate many responses. First of all, a 327 was not available in the C-series trucks until 1966. The 283 was the only sbc V8 available in 1964. I would check the block numbers and confirm what you have. The factory column shift 3 speeds were very common, therefore that does not boost the price.

Does it have any of these factory/dealer options:

power brakes
power assist steering
chrome side trim
chrome Custom cab sails
anodized aluminum grille
chrome front and rear bumpers
dash gauges, in lieu of warning lights
factory A/C
AM radio

If it has some of these options, it starts, runs and drives, and it is streetable, $2,500.00 is not unreasonable, however there are many other variables, that may move the price up or down. Rust in the floor boards, kick panels, rockers panels, cab corners, inner fenders, front fender tails, over the rear wheel wells or hood lip, will reduce the cost.

Post a few pictures and viewers will get a better idea of what you have. There are so many variables, it is hard to say what one is worth, however I own several and am rather discriminating when I purchase one. I hope this information is helpful.

If it,s not rusted out too bad & runs I think it would be worth more than that. It,s hard to buy anything decent for less then 4-5 thousand. It,s true the older ones are worth more.

A well equipped, original and complete '60-'66 Chevy truck will set it apart from most. There were many trucks manufactured during this era, therefore a unmolested, survivor that is complete, with little rust, is valued higher than the run-of-the-mill basic models with rust in the usual places. WELL,I REALLY THANK YA'LL,I DID CHECK THE VIN,AND RUN THE NUMBERS AND IT A '63,NOT A '64 LIKE I WAS TOLD,NOT KNOWING AT THE TIME,THAT THEY WAS THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE,I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT A '63 WAS THE LAST YEAR OF THE WRAP AROUND WINDSHIELD,IS THAT TRUE??ALSO IT DOES HAVE ALL THE CHROME,ON THE SIDES,CAB AND FRONT AND REAR BUMPER,AND GAUGES,I KINDA BROKE THE OL'LADYS CAMREA,SO I'LL STILL FIND A WAY TO POST SOME PICTURES

Thats correct, 63 is the last year of the wrap around windshield.
