| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 Member | | Member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 | Trying to assemble spare tire carrier parts that came with the truck, there is a slide type bar apparatus mounted to chassis and then I have a long 3 ft or so piece with a J bolt in it that appears to be the lower tire rest on piece, then two other brackets, one a small bracket with round side to it, and the other bracket about 18 inches that has two mounting holes that line up with the smaller round brakcet piece, I have the chevy assembly manual and shop manuals for this year and they show an entirely differrent set up, I think this is some kind of swing down and to rear appartus, any help or drawing of how it goes together and works will be greatly appreciated | | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 Member | | Member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 | Thanks for the info Take care Ken | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Look through the trucks for sale on Ebay, they often show great pictures to archive for the various trucks/years of AD's. | | |
