I am sorry for asking so many questions , but i can not for the life of me find the cowl tag on my 65 chevy truck. I have looked on both doors and the firewall. Usually does not have the VIN, just the paint code, GWVR, etc. VIN tag was usually on the door jamb, above the window on the driver's side, could also be on the rear part of the door jamb. Did you find your VIN? All of my '64-'66 Chevy trucks have the VIN plate on the drivers side door jamb where your head hits if you don't duck when you get in, as well as on the drivers side frame rail, a bit forward of the motor mount perches. This is where 64fleetside specified. Good luck and welcome aboard.

After you find the VIN, post it and we can tell you a little about your truck per the VIN.

thanks though for the tip on serial being on lt rail, i'll have to check there on our 65 c10 & 66 c20.
