Anyone know of any vintage GMC or Chevrolet school buses being restored? Would love to see photos or get information on any web sites. Thanks.

The only vintage school bus that I know is currently being restored is a 1950 Ford bus. A good friend of mine who is a fabricator is building a full custom frame, airbag suspension, newer aluminum truck wheels, and a chop top. I dont know of any Chevy's being restored, but theres a scrapyard near my house that has about 30 old busses in it ranging from the late 30's to the early 60's. Most of those are Chevy and GMC.

Welcome to the "BOLT". I saw a couple on e-bay, a 30's Dodge and a few GM's last night. There are wrecking yards full of buses around the south. Most will be missing the front clips and drive train though. Keep looking they are out there.
