For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 34 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 34 | Hey Guys I am new to the wonderful world of stovebolts, but i recently got a 65 chevy stepside and was wondering were the cowl tag and vin number was located. Any help and suggestions are always welcome. I am also only 26 so that shows that there are some kids out there that love the older trucks. The cowl tag is on the cowl under the hood, and the vin is on the left front side of the dash, best viewed from outside the truck while standing next to the drivers door hinges.

My friends think i am stupid for getting the truck, but i love it and can not wait for some good warm weather to cruise in. I have driven it almost everyday since i got it, but it is still a little chilly to drive. | | |
