Autos and trucks come with codes attached. I understand engine code, paint code, and trim code. What is ACC code? Accessories? How would a person break down the code "WV" on a vehicle? Point me to a source if you will. Thanks, BW

Where on the truck did you find the code?

USA or Canadian; GMC or Chevrolet?

This is a 1960 Chevrolet code. Code is on the ID plate - I am doing this search for a friend, so it may be a car "code". Thanks, BW

ACC does appear to be the designation for accessory codes.

A list in which "WV" does not appear but shows that "ACC" does refer to "Accessories".

Finally, a resource book for 1960 Chevys that has ACC codes on page 2 according to the index of the book. (You can view the index but not page 2 from the Amazon site)

Perhaps you could browse this book at your local library or bookstore and nail down your mystery letters.
