I have bought all the rubber seals for the doors, but am not sure how it is spose to look when installed.

If you have pics, I would love to see how it should be done.

Everything inside the door is there, so I can replace that ok. Its the rubber seal around the outside of the door, and the bottom of the door I am not sure of.

Thanks for your help.

Jim, The door seals (called windlace) on our older trucks goes on the cab not the door. The windlace goes under the sheetmetal trim around the door jam.

This stuff looks like a rubber tube with a flap along the length. The flap goes under the trim pieces and is all screwed to the cab. The piece for the bottom of the door is similar but it is kind of "U" shaped. You just catch one leg of the "U" under the trim.

I hope this helps.

Well it does help, 46forme. The bottom I got. The sheetmetal you speak of is the part I dont have. Do you have any pictures?

Thanks again

One of the pics of my 46 in the Gallery shows the windlace, it's same color as interior so you need to look close. Check out, Jim Merritt's 46

My doors do not have rubber seals, just this windlace, seams to work pretty well. There is a single rubber strip along the bottom of the door opening.
