I'm sure someone will help you with the block casting number,it appears to be missing some numbers,i may be wrong ? There should be about seven digits before the F ? The numbers after your F don't look right. I would almost bet you have a 261 engine.

My information came from tha Catalog of Chevy Truck ID Numbers 1946-1972, which is published by Cars & Parts. This book has most all of the engine, trans, and differential numbers plus color codes and option numbers.
