I placed a small order yesterday and actually got a phone call today from them advising that I had ordered one too many brake clips than what I needed for my specific truck and they wanted to confirm that I actually want 4 instead of 3. I was completely impressed by this. I just guessed when I ordered the four and ends up after I placed the order realized that I only needed three.
The thing is, I was going to just let the order run and keep a spare. Their attention to details and focus on customer satisfaction prompted them to actually call me to correct what was my "miscount". I think most companies would have just let the order go through vs. taking the time to correct it. Say nothing about actually knowing how many I needed for my specific truck.
I will certainly be ordering from them again! Just thought I would share a positive experience.

The Filling Station person replied, "The only small order is an order that isn't placed. What do you need?" He filled the order and with the Christmas rush I got it as though it wasn't during holiday season! I thought that was pretty good, too! Joe

I’ve had similar results with Chevy Duty or what ever their new name is, although many of the reproduction parts/items have left a lot to be desired. I’m about to spend about $500 on the interior so I’ve got a stack of catalogs a couple of feet high in front of me. I’ve been pulling what little hair I have left out over the sketchy descriptions of the materials and absence of pictures of what the items actually looks like. We’re spending a lot of bread with these vendors and we deserve the best. When we get it, I think we should shout it for all to hear. I hope everyone understands that the reports aren’t all going to be so positive and if we have a really negative experience I think we should bring those to the attention of the group. There’s always going to be a few guys that nothing or nobody can satisfy but we’re smart enough to recognize him and I just ignore the old coot has to say. Denny Graham Sandwich, IL

They are the nicest and most helpful people. I always get unbelieveable assistance when I am in their store. They always go the extra mile to satisfy their customers! Littlebuddie

They participated with donating a prize for the IRWIPI contest this year, too. They were real anxious to be part of it. Which made it easier for me, hunting the prizes.
Good folks get good business.

I agree the Filling Station is a great place to do business. The only places I have had MAJOR problems is Heavy Chevy and Jim Carter's. I have ordered twice from Heavy Chevy, and there will not be a third time. I have posted my beef with them before, but you have to question how dedicated to selling parts they are when the answering machine says " welcome to heavy chevy and ****'* eyeglass emporium " seriously. I will admit they some great, hard to find parts. However that dosen't mitigate haveing a partial order that you have to put into dispute with the credit card company. With Jim Carter's I made a small order. 50 bucks or so. When the bill came I was charged 160 dollars. When I called, the little b&^%** I talked to said the 2 parts were Chevrolet "authorized". Had I not installed them, needing some mods to work. I would have sent them back. Sorry for rambling, but this is a real sore spot for me.
