If so I am very curious about a few things. Perhaps you can fill me in on your set-up. I’m more interested in stock style rear suspension but if it’s back halved, I’ll listen to that too smile

60' times and 1/4 ET/mph
If Auto, stall converter size
Rear tire (size and make, DR or slick)
What you are using for both front and rear suspension (IE Shocks, springs, sway bars)

Thanks in advance.

Shaun

I can't help you out much, but I did get a kick out of the "Pinks All Out" on Speed channel. Some gal won the drags with an early 60's Ford pickup running low 10's. Might want to try and find her.

Thanks but totally different. Different instant center of gravity and antisquat due to lower control arm location. Hense why I am looking for 60-72 info because they are so similar.

Well I don't have any slips & memory won't go back to last year on 60 ft times, but my buddy was into the low 12's @110 mph w/a 69 C10-small block 400, Iron Eagle heads, stout roller cam(over .500 lift) TH400, 3.73 w/Eaton. 750 holley, Blue pump. Hooker 1 3/4" Super Comp series headers. Stock coil suspension in rear w/urethane bushings/new lowering springs/HD shocks. Front stock other than HD shocks & lowering spindles. Using stock 8 inch 4x4 ralley wheels Goodyear 11.5x15 slicks fit. Anyhing bigger you will have to tub the bed at least. 215/15s on front 6" wheels. 3000 stall. Started in the 14.5 area & by tuning/slicks/etc got into the low 12's, seems like 12.18/115 mph was his best. The track guys were asking him about a cage. All went good til he put on the 8/71 & baby Dominator, it would not dream of hooking up, then the crank bought it & there it sits, been a year. But it was fun while it lasted. Brian
