Has anyone dealt with Speedway Motors? I am interested in their T-5 adapter to flathead Ford. They don,t reply to e-mails so I,m wondering about their reliability. George

Yes, I have. I purchased their tubing bender and the tubing notcher. I also purchased a variety of small parts. I found them easy to deal with and the equipment and parts as they were advertised. I do not remember the shipping time but I remember thinking it was good.

I've ordered parts several times from them and I have never been disappointed. Merchanise has always been good quality and shipment has been prompt!

Speedway is a reliable company.

My late father went to school with Bill. Dad told me about the collection/museum that Speedway has. Its not really advertised all that much but its a must see if you ever get to Lincoln Nebraska.

A buddy of mine bought some hotrod parts from them. The general impression I got from the few times he's spoken about the parts is the quality is OK but not top notch. It had more to do with the fit being less than desirable rather than being made from poor materials.

Most companies seem reluctant to deal via email (I don't know why), so a phone call appears to always be the best course.

I was on the fence about recommending them if anyone ever asked. I had a lot of problems, but in the end it was the fault of their supplier who had been very sloppy with my order. They could have done a little more to help me out, but their prices are fair and the shipping was good. I would just say if you do have any problems make sure they stay on top of it and take care of it. Otherwise, they are better than a lot of the sharks simming in the hot rod pond.

Worked for Speedy Bill for a short time. Very nice guy. Entire staff was great to work with. Wouldn't have any worries about the service.

The biggest problem with emails is that they get swamped with them...good, and bad. I worked at an outfit that had hundreds of emails a day, and about one-third were legit. The rest were spam and junk! In a case like that make sure your subject line looks like business otherwise they may delete it because even with firewalls and everthing else some junk gets in once in a while.
They haven't got the time to sort through each and every one they get, so again, make your subject line look important.
