For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 35 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 35 | I have assembled the body and rad at the front end and I noticed that it appears that a metal fascia is missing, because I have no picture of what the front end should look perhaps someone can let me know if the part actually exists. At the op of the grille where the hood grasp is and to the support bracket that is above the rad, I think is esthetic shroud between the two to cover part of the rad if viewing from the front. There is bolt holes at the bracket and bolt holes on the hood catch shroud. Its difficult to describe. 1950 GMC 1-ton pick-up. It is formed sheet metal and is a closure from the part holding the hood latch and the radiator core support. It is a compound curved part and would be very difficult to replicate, keep looking for a factory made part, shouldn't cost too much if you can find one. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 35 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 35 | Thank you for the confirmation, I'll begin the search, Cheers! | | |
