My question is: why can't one add a longer leaf support bracket to get it up to standard height or add a smaller leaf to the Mono to get the benefit of the Mono ride with the stock heigth ! I removed the 3rd leaf in the front & I did get a little better ride than the stock, but I would sure like to see what a Mono would do ! Any thoughts, anybody ...

The lowered height IS the benefit of the Mono ride. If you want springs that function as springs are intended to, and an improved ride, call Eaton (multi-leafs).
