I've tried 4 different vendors and they all have back ordered the 3/4 ton hub caps. Anyone bought one of these recently??

i can't find them either denny. may have a guy here in arizona who has a "donor" truck that has original 3/4 ton hub caps, but i don't think anyone has them new.

let me know if you are interested in the original ones and i'll see what i can do. i just want one for my spare so if there are any others that are in good condition i'd be glad to send them on to you.

Thanks PJ, let me know via email me if that pans out.
Thanks Roge, I'll have to give him a call. I was counting on new ones because they are SS, but they have been on back order for over a month at the AD vendors sites. I have two that are chromed steel no dents but the chrome is pitted. I'm looking for a plater in the area that could redo them. I need three more straight ones in good shape.

Denny, there is a guy in Miami Ok. that has a lot of used 3/4
parts, I'll try to find his name if you are interested ! Also,
there is a good yard in So. East Colo. that has a lot of caps,
last year I pu 2 painted 3/4 caps for my '53, again I'll have
to try to run down the name ( my truck is in Colo. with all
of the info...) if needed !
If you do get lucky with the AD 3/4 caps, let us know the info
& pricing etc...who is the vendor !!!

I have been purchasing all my parts from Golden State Auto Parts 1-800-235-5717, they have hub caps, and just about everything else. I have'nt had any problems ordering and I have bought probably over 5000$ in parts from them. Jack "gas dude" with 1950 Gmc 1-ton

I have 3 nice chrome repops plus one so so original on my 53 3/4 ton flatbed (see in gallery). A local guy gave me these when he ripped out the running gear to go street rod.

I would trade these for NICE used gray painted originals if not rusty. I posted this idea some months back, got zero response.

Goldem State Parts returns nothing for "hub cap",or "hubcap". Brothers doesn't list SS caps for 50, 3/4 ton.

denny, haven't heard anything from the local source regarding the 3/4 ton hub caps. if the other sources mentioned pan out, i'd say go for it.

if the guy comes throug in the next week or so i'll let you know.

Jimerit...the 2 that I got out of the So. Colo yard were the painted 3/4 caps, I would be willing to trade for 2 of
your crome units ! My only problem is: the truck & caps
are in Colo. & I'm here in Eagle Rock, Ca.. If you can wait until this spring (May), I'll do the deal with you & I will try to get
back out to the yard & run down another two !
Let me know !
