I am not sure if I should put the metal together and mount to the frame and then install the wood floor....or should I put the entire bed together including the wood floor before mounting to the truck?
Any suggestions? Better yet, anyone have a step-by-step guide as to how to go about this?

lots of advice and you can get the installation instructions from mar-k.
