Well I got my Chevrolet Restoration Kit in the mail last week. Took less than a week to get it. There are two pamphlets, one is simply a list of vendors of replacement part and the other is a listing of all the specs for the 1950 model year. All this is available at chevy.tocmp.com which I downloaded and printed out a couple of weeks ago. I was under the impression that I was going to get the production spec sheet for my individual truck. Was I expecting to much or did they slip up and not send me all the information for the Restoration Kit??

Yes, you were expecting too much. GM does not have individual "build" or spec sheets for individual trucks (at least for US built trucks). What you see is all that is available.

Denny,
for my Canadian GMC, I got from GM an official letter with the date of manufacture, a breakdown of the VIN, about a one half inch thick stack of double sided Engineering specs and the advertisements. Some information was missing so they sent me some more for the next year.

Denny,

Just like you I got my restoration kit a couple weeks ago and all I got was the vendors sheet and specs for my 57. Was going to ask the same question but you beat me to it. I Thought I read in another thread that the "official letter" that truckernix described was part of every package not just the Canadian trucks. Evidently not so. Good luck on your project.

So could you or if any body has a good copy of for 51 send me a copy. Just the accessorie page

Everything that I got from Chevrolet, I had downloaded from here a week or so before I contacted them.

Thats about all I got from Chevy also. But hey at least they a have the service to offer.I'll take anything I can get.
I also think it helps them log how many and what year Chevrolets are being, will be, have been restored. It probably helps the design guys with new models by the look of the SSR.
