Way to go Tim!!! She's a beauty. I think that's about the prettiest bed I've ever seen. And that hood fitment is great. Obviously, you are a perfectionist!!!

I'm surprised more bolters aren't using the Camaro diffs....with 1st,2nd,3rd generation fitting perfectly, and a multitude of ratios, plus posi and disc brakes on the 9 bolts, they seem like such a logical choice.

If it drives half as good as it looks, you've got a winner!

Thanks,i put the paint on her 17 years ago.I keep it out of the weather.I do have a few blemishes to fix, nothing serious. It's far from perfect, but it is mine and paid for.I am building the 261 for it as we speak.

I have always loved oak and walnut wood.I chose to go with walnut. The painter talked me into making the oval piece for the mural. It's just velcroed on,so cleaning is easy.I did'nt want to at first, that was a brand new front bed panel.I'm glad i did it.

My truck has the 1st generation 1967-1969 camaro rearend. It fits like a glove,i was nervous about the swap at first. I am happier with this set up,The 3:73 12 bolt posi and t-5 woke the truck up.It's a lot funner to drive now. This week i will be modifying the b&m shifter i bought for it.The shifter handle is too short, uncomfortible after awhile of driving.I plan on lengthening it.I will post some pictures after i complete the shifter project.

darn, theres that word "Perfectionist",i don't know. I just try to do the best i can, with what i got and hope for the best.

As a woodworker I can really appreciate the beauty of that bed wood. And as a bolt owner I can really appreciate how much sweeter it drives now. Very nice work. Enjoy.

well tree surgeon, you have one that is about as good as it can get..........thanks for the post, you will enjoy the conversion for sure.

I had to have my shifter(s-10) extended about 5 1/2 inches on mine,, had a mechanist make me one, came out real well.. thanks for the post, you really have something to be proud of.
