Not that anyone cares but I added a couple of new things to the old truck.

The first is a Custom Cab steering wheel. The old steering wheel was in sort of ugly shape anyway, and I always liked these much better, so I painted it white and stuck it on. I have the Custom Cab side trim, a right sun visor, and a few other things hanging around, so I guess I'm slowly Custom Cabbing it. Anyway, I really like this steering wheel!

Also, probably to the dismay of those that met me at the all-truck nationals in KC, I got rid of the concrete-filled step bumper in exchange for a factory bumper. The truck literally came up about five inches in the back when that thing came off. I still need a license plate bracket. Now, the front bumper and grill really look sad, so I guess that'll have to be the next project, getting those all sanded down, cleaned up and painted.

Also, my windshield was cracked all over, and the one you see there was courtesy of 48bigtrucks. I've just been out steel-wolling the puddin' out of that baby, and it looks pretty good. I really appreciate him letting me have that!! Also, JC from this board got it hauled down here from Iowa for me and stored it in his garage for a couple days until I could go get it from him. I've been doing car stuff and messageboards for a long time, and I've never had people help me out like these guys did here--and I'm a pretty new guy!

Anyway, there's the latest updates. I'm sure you've all been curious. grin

I'm glad some of my stuff is getting used. Who cares if you're a new guy, you drive a 63! I've got a deluxe wheel too, they are definately better looking than the standards.
Good work Craig!

I think the steering wheel looks great but I will not be licking it. Maybe a loving gaze but no tongue action.

Nice looking wheel, and I like the tissue holder under the dash too.

Thanks!

I had that tissue thing hanging around forever, it just seemed like it belonged there. It's hard to get Kleenexes for, though--I have to get people to steal them when they stay in the hospital or at hotels. grin
