If so, did it mount up nicely with plenty of clearance and does it sound nice? quiet?

I've got the muffler. It is mounted the stock location. A local shop did a great job of routing the pipes and keeping them up and out of the way. The same path as the exhaust pipes, and of course a new and custom path for the tailpipes since I took them straight out the back on either side of the hitch. It's pretty quiet and very mellow until you get it to 2300 - 2500 rpm. When you do get it singing it sounds great. But I'm biased grin

Truckasaurus,
are you refering the the SS exhaust and muffler for the dual Fenton manifold?
If so, did they tell you it might not be until next year for availability? Maybe never...
If never, has anyone found any other source for a pre-fabed routing of even aluminized steel?
I would then most likely go with a FlowMaster Delta 50 or something like that to eliminate in-cab resonance.

i have them and they mounted up nice and easy in the stock location. I haven't run the engine yet so I don't know how they sound.

Here are some pictures ...

Rattletrap52, yes,I was referring to the whole stainless set up.
Am I understanding that they aren't in production?
Chev235, are you running the whole exhaust system or just the muffler?

Thanks guys

I'm like chev235 except I'm GMC261. I have Patrick's complete system and will start installing it next weekend. Am planning on doing a webshots album of the install as I do it. The system looks awesome out of the box. The only problem I'll have is getting two extensions made up by a local shop because I have a longbed. I have a couple photos of the front pipes on a test fit to the Fenton headers on the "Engine rebuild album" on webshots. More to come.

Truckasaurus ... I have the entire exhaust system from the Fenton Headers to tip of the exhuast pipes.

To mount the entire system you have to cut two existing rivets. You use those holes to hold the rubber flap that holds the brackets for the exhaust. It took me about two hours to mount everything (by myself) and I took my time.

The quality is exceptional. I am friends with Patrick and knowing him he is very particular with what he does and this is no exception.

If you are thinking about doing the entire exhuast I would do it. You won't be dissappointed.

I called Jim Carter. They don't carry ANY pre-bent stuff for Fentons. If you have a Cat #, that would be great. But their customer service couldn't locate a thing.

I talked to jims crew a while back. They use to carry dual exhaust systems years ago.I guess it's easier just to take the truck to the exhaust shop.

Shipping was about the cost of a single steel exhaust system
