I, and other Gearheads who tend to fabricate stuff, have always had this problem: Getting the right materials without having to buy 10 times more than needed - then driving X miles to go get it. So, here I was surfing the Net looking for leaf spring shackles, when I ran across this site:

These guys will ship you any structural material, any configuration, any length . . . cheap! I got enough 1/2" X 2" steel bar to make four shackles for under $13. Check it out!
