UURRR, I just have to vent. Driver's side door: begin with damaged outer cowl, rust, and never closed right. Full outer cowl replacement and a good piece of the inner kick panel. After all welded up, door fits fine, closes nice. Passenger side: begin with no damage, little rust and closed fine. Small lower outter cowl and kick panel rust repair. Today I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get the passenger door aligned and still not there!!!!!! 1/2" gap at top front with top hinge adjusted all the way in. Same door, same hinges (rebuilt), what the @$#*! Okay, deep breath, stiff drink and back to the garage.

my advise to you, nifty 50 2, walk away from it. clear your mind, think about anything but the truck. Then when you get that feeling in your gut, calmly walk back to your baby and think, if i loosen these bolts and hold my tongue just right the vents will line up and the *&^%$#@#$%^ door will close with the touch of a finger! hang in there man, these trucks are worth it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!

Nifty,
Worry about the body lines and the door gaps.
I had to move the windshield post with a portapower after the door was properly gapped to get it fairly close. Sometimes it the bottom of the cab is rusted it will through the door openings out of wack.
my 2 cents,
Wilbur
