I walked down town San Bernardino last Friday. The coolist stovebolt I saw was a rat rod bucket T with a 235 in it. The 235 had a 2x1 intake and fenton duels. The duels snaked down the outside of the body and exited between the body and the rear tire in two long cone megiphones. I sure would have liked to hear it run.

There were also alot of nice trucks.

I go every year to see the great cars and trucks, it's just a couple of miles from here. Next year I will get to drive our bolt to 66!

Fredoly-
That's cool! Looks like sort of a temporary perch for watching parades or picnics.

We used to drive down from Barstow and cruise E Street back in the 60's. Is that still the routine or has the location changed over the years? Used to be some nice shows at the Orange Show Grounds.

Oh yeah, nothing changes it seems. Probably due to the likes of OTH gang and others like them.
The route just changes by a street or two, but E street is the place to be.

That is a good show.Me and my father plan on driving to it from NM next year. They use to not allow lowriders but my club had a boycott show and that changed.I turns out it was one racist piece of $#*@ that ruined it for everyone.

Bruce K.

There hasn't been any E St cruising for at least 25 years. The local businesses stopped all the fun. As Route 66 is now is how cruising E st. used to be 35 years ago. Lots of people and cars every Friday night.

The Route 66 cruise route is in the down town area; E st to Sierra Way,
