is it much trouble to take one out. looks simple enough,, just a lot of screws?

BTW, i looked at your website, and that's 1 mighty fine looking ride. RedRyder is a beauty! It will look nice with a chromed grill. If you are only having the 5 bars chromed, they are fixed with rivets. Lots of rivets that are hard to get to. Unless by some stroke of luck that sombody has taken it apart already and put it back together with nuts and bolts, the dis-assembly will certainly keep you amused for awhile. Show some pictures when you are done with the chroming. I am thinking of having the 5 bars on my truck re-chromed soon.

I've got my grill off and would love to have it rechromed rather than buy a repop. For what it will cost, your original idea of buying a repo and keeping the original grill is probably cheaper. That way, you can change them out every time you want a new look. Of course you know you're creating a monster here because once you put the chrome grill in, then you'll want chrome bumpers and then stainless trim around the windshield and windows. Then what, OMG chrome runningboards! Before you know it, you've chromed the brake drums and remove a tire everytime you take it to the local car shows. It is cheaper to get the repop. Wait for a show and get one form the venders there. (no tax)

This company is also known as Superior Chrome. Several of our members, myself included got burned by their shoddy workmanship.
Search this site for "Superior Chrome", "Bobby Baker" and "Rodney Baker" before you decide to let these yahoos touch any of your precious truck parts.
