The problem is that even though there are defrost vents at the windshield, there are no ducts and there is no outlet on the heater to duct to the windshield. What's up with that? Will need the defroster worse that the heater this winter. Any ideas?

Either one has a duct outlet for the defrost and tubes connect them to the defrost ducts. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | Heaters were an option back then & many were aftermarket. Some didn,t have defrost. You will need to get a heater with defrost or improvise a ductwork. We used to put a piece of wood on the edge of the hood & close it leaving a gap for engine heat to come out. Motoring was crude back then. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
