Got an "Aria" heater in my 52 Chevy 3/4. It's hooked to an old lamp switch and it works great. The problem is that even though there are defrost vents at the windshield, there are no ducts and there is no outlet on the heater to duct to the windshield. What's up with that? Will need the defroster worse that the heater this winter. Any ideas?

heaters of this era, usually had a seperate (optional) motor assembly on top for defrost.

I don't know what heater you are referring to but for these trucks, the heater is usually either the "fresh air" heater or the "recirculating" heater. Either one has a duct outlet for the defrost and tubes connect them to the defrost ducts.

Heaters were an option back then & many were aftermarket. Some didn,t have defrost. You will need to get a heater with defrost or improvise a ductwork. We used to put a piece of wood on the edge of the hood & close it leaving a gap for engine heat to come out. Motoring was crude back then.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
