I am swapping in the front spindles with disc brakes into my 65 from a 84 C10. I am also adding the power steering box, power brake master cylinder and the rear axle (10 bolt with a posi!) The rear axle required me to cut the spring perches off and weld on custom made ones for the trailing arms to meet up with. I also had to fabricate the track bar mount. If you are swapping in a 12 bolt to a 12 bolt, then you can just gut the old one and pop in the newer parts to the old housing. Saves on the fabrication part.

Are the axels the same length? Or do you have to have them cut down?
