What am doing is thinking of installing a Mustang II IFS system in my 49 3/4 ton truck, but some the IFS catalogs list as 1/2 ton with no metnion of 3/4.
Is there any reason why I cant install a Mustang II in a 3/4 ton frame?
I really want to keep the long bed look so if push comes to shove i guess Ill need to buy a 1/2 ton frame and extended it. Thanks...Eric | | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 348 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 348 | from appox. the middle of the cab to the front the frames are the same. its the rear that are different the 3/4 ton frame rails run straight from the middle of the cab to the rear. the 1/2 are angled. if your going the put a mustang II purchase the heidts the quality is the best. | | |
