Anyway, it had a lot of links, and even took me to what looked like an ebay signin page. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! There are several scams out there that try to get your account numbers and passwords. If you get an email like that, do not click on anything, as it will not redirect you to the "real" ebay.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 2,893 Socket Breaker | | Socket Breaker Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 2,893 | a pal of mine went to a link like that... and enter her info... and in a few hours someone had highjacked her account, changed her email and started posting for sale stuff on ebay with her account.
She emailed ebay and let them know that she had not authorized her email addy to be changed, etc... so they went in and cleaned it up and restored the account to her... but it was a big aggravation. There is a certain URL that all ebay sign in's happen on... if it isn't listed exactly that way, then something is up.
