I’m looking a new engine form my 1955 2nd series, actually it has a 3836280 GM 5, but I want to change the steering system and don have any idea for put in the steering pump, please help me to choice a best motor to make this kind of change. I localize a chevelle but don have the year it has the engine an all parts.

hey juanito,I'm new to this site too.Alot of the more experienced guys could probably help you out better if you could post some pictures of your engine and your steering pump.I just got a book yesterday that is very helpfull,click on the link below.

Slap a V-8, complete with steering pump, in your rig and don't agonize over PS pump brackets. To view the recent discussion of PS systems, have a look at:

There are all manner of motor mount kits out there. My truck had those weird front motor mounts, too, but a tubular motor mount kit took care of that . . . and it was cheap.
