You can do several things to gain power steeing on a solid-axle truck.
1) Use the oiginal GM-type PS - No change to steeing column. To see what that looks like, have a look at:

http://www.classictruckshop.com/t1_page4.asp Note: You can fab one up for youself using C-2/C-3 Covette parts if you don't want to spend that much. That's what I did.

2) Use a kit with a Saginaw PS unit. Sits way forward, you have to move the shocks, and you have to do something about the steering column. Have a look at:

3) Use a reverse-rotation Dodge PS box located thru-the-fame close to firewall. See:

In this swap, the steering column has to be changed or redone as well.
