I was lucky enough to have a windshield frame in great shape, that is until I tried to remove the broken glass. Turns out the screws on the bottom of the frame where stuck and broke off in the frame. I know your thinking man are you lucky. But now I can't get the frame apart or the glass out and need help. Any ideas. I can sure use them.

I had that same problem. I drilled out the screws but the center v-support metal inside was rusted solid to the frame. I took a skinny cutoff wheel in a dremel (I think they are 1" in diameter and about a 1/16" thick) and cut a slit across the holes to the edge of the opening in the middle of the frame. That enabled me to pry it open just a enough to get that center v-support metal out. I then had a welder tig weld the slit. Then I blended the weld with a file and redrilled the holes and bought new center v-support metals. Sounds kinda laber intensive but those frames are expensive......like around 300 dollars.

Did you worry about drilling those too far or damaging the threads and not being able to tap new threads?

I forgot to mention that I tried to install the glass myself. Pain in the ###! I ended up taking to a glass shop, they had some old guy experienced with old cars that did a beutiful job.
