Are there stamped frame numbers that coincide with vin numbers on a 57 chevy truck? IF so, Where are they located?

You should find it on the drivers side, top of frame about where the wheel is. Strange, I just check my 58 shop manal and they showed, VIN, engine number, and tranny number location, but not the frame location. I know it's there I found it on a 58 Cameo, and my 60s trucks.

It should be close to the steering box on the top of the frame rail. Sometimes it can also be under the cab on the left side frame rail. My '55 has it in both locations.
