ok, will 3 clip hold the hubcap on, instead of 4? 49 3600, by the way. Just wondering if you guys have had any experience with it.... i don't want to lose a new $50 hubcap! smile

Your 3600 would be 8 lug, Id go with 4 clips. Im planning the same trick on some modern 8 lug rims don't know year or make, the big 3/4 ton caps fit in the hole but not tight fit, a little sloppy. How do yours fit in the new rims???
Thanks
Jim

Well, I'm using the old 8 lug, snap ring rims. I just bought new hubcaps, and surprisingly they fit well.... about the only parts i've bought that i'm happy with.
