Yes!
I know the question has been raised before, and yes, I did check the previous postings. However, I 've found a set of Cragar 17 x 8 eight lug rims that fit my 52 3/4 ton without interference or spacers. I was wondering who else out there in Stovebolt land is running 17" radials and if so what size tires are you running?

I am really surprised that these wheels fit on the front of your truck without rubbing the tie rod ends. That's the trouble with modern wider, after-market or take-off rims - too much backspace (inset). Practically anything will fit on the rear. Have you measured the back of the wheel from the rim edge to the center of the wheel, where the wheel meets the drum? I would be interested in the model number of those wheels. Good luck.

I checked in the Michelin spec book and the only
size that looks close would be 245/70/17E. It
measures 9.5" wide by 30.6" tall and is the correct load rating for a 3/4 ton. Most of the 17" tires listed are for suvs and sport truck, not well suited for useage on a 3/4 ton. There
is also a 265/70/17 listed,it may not clear the
fender/drag link as it is taller and wider by 1".

Thanks Gents:
I am absolutely sure the Cragar rim clears.
I got them from Summit Racing. P/N is CRR 3978880[$56.95] for the rims and WVI-50080-1 for the chrome lug nuts. The rim has a 4.5 inch backspace.

4.5" backspace shoul be fine. I'm running 15x8
Blazer rally wheels on my 3200 that have the same
backspacing with no problems. I can easily fit my
hand between the wheel and the tie rod. I also clear the drag link at full left lock with room to spare.
