Did anyone else see the website when it wasn't "under construction"? Dynacorn had been saying the stovebolt body would be available "mid-spring". They updated their web site and it had the 69 Camaro convertible and the 69 Camaro hard top (new addition) and then mentioned that the 47-53 would be available "later this fall". Bummer.

The LMC catalog lists every part of the entire body now except for the cab roof.

Pieces schmeeces. LMC doesn't have this .

I just pieced together the back half of a 66 chevelle for much more than I wanted to pay. I'm curious what the price range on the truck body will be. It's much less complex than the 69 Camaro body.

a complete cab would be nice but I think I'd learn more from picking away at my rusty one.

I don't understand why they would go through all the work of reproducing that style cab when there's still lots of them around. Do the doors come with it they aren't in the pictures. Does anybody reproduce the doors? I can understand the camaro but a 47-53 cab. Why not 41-46 there's alot less of them. I'm very curious what the price will be on the cab.

A little food for thought on this-This body style is very popular with the rodder set, but there are many of them that are "armchair" rodders who either have them built or do not want to have to rebuild a 50+ year old body. Add to that those that aren't going to use anything but the body and you can see why the went with this style. Also keep in mind that will leave more original trucks for the restorers to work with. And if you have an orininal truck with a comletely rotten cab, you can fix it without much fuss. Of corse wheres the fun in that?
I'd like to knoe when they are gonna do a Task Force body.

Question :
Are there plans for any other year and make truck bodies?

Answer :
Yes, the 1955-59 truck cab will be coming, but as to when we can't yet say.

Have you seen these thin things? I think I'll always take the US made sheet metal thing that takes 40 years to rust out not just four. (my tohughts there)yeah just leave it to the rodders.

What about the door hinges? No one is reproducing them that I am aware of.
