I have a 59 big window fleetside. The bed has the chrome pieces around the middle of the bed around the "spear" that is part of the bed. Is this normal for this year truck or was this an option. I haven't seen many like this & would like more info on this style. Thanks.

it was an option on the 58/9 fleetside, not standard - part of a deluxe trim package or purchased seperately - scarce and spendy nowadays

Hey, Tex,

I have the same model, but it doesn't have the big window or chrome spear. I think these were options. I'll trade ya my old hubcaps for those side spears.

I may have to think about that deal a while!
