Were the long chrome strips on the side of the 1959 Fleetside box (the arrow) only made for 1959, or did they make them in 1958 also?

They were available both years for short and long fleets. Let me know if you find some. They are not reproduced and have sold on E-bay for upwards of $400. I have also heard them refered to as rocket trim. I considered buying a truck for $1000 just for the trim. :rolleyes:


They named it Apache cause it has a patchy welded here and a patchy welded there.

If I could find a good photo of them I would consider air brushing them on. It might be easier way of getting them.
