A few years back I was driving down some back roads when I spotted a 48 panel standing on a guys yard that was cluttered with srap metal. I stopped in to ask if it was for sale and he said sure for the price of scrap metal cause it's off to the crusher.I paid him about 40 bucks and picked it up the next day. It was in pretty rough shape. The front end was completely smashed in, all 4 doors had huge dents in them. Every piece that was bolted onto the body needed to be replaced. But I spent about 3 winters working on it and brought it back to life. I've put 2500 miles on it last summer including a 1500 mile road trip to a carshow.

Anybody else got a good story to tell about saving a loved one from the shredder?

Highway Its a good feeling to resurrect a boned out old bolt and make it useful again not to mention having fun with it. Weeds
